1. What Are the Four Most Common Mistakes Made when using Juicytwist; and How Do I Avoid Making Them?

• Not inserting Juicytwist correctly — In order to effectively “thread” Juicytwist into your initial hole, place the Stopper in the palm of your hand away from the fruit (ref. step 1) .  Make sure that you never let the hole get any bigger (ref. step 2 hint)!


• Not turning the fruit. — While holding your Juicytwist steady with one hand, twist your fruit with the other (ref. step 3)  . Give it a good half turn while keeping the hole as small as possible in order to prevent the juice from spilling out.


• Not maintaining Juicytwist vertical while drinking — Tipping a full mug of steaming hot coffee is not advisable; neither is Tipping your Juicytwist while drinking!  Keep it straight-up with the citrus hole at the top (ref. step 4) in order to minimize leakage.


• Not selecting juicy, fresh fruit — Make sure to pick fruits that have no cracks in the rind (dry rind) and fruits that are heavy in weight with juice.

2. What do I do If The Opening Becomes Too Big?

• You can still drink from your Juicytwist, just be careful not to spill any of the juice especially when twisting the fruit.

3. What do I do If the Rind Has Split?

• Keep the split closed by cupping your hand around it; try moving the split towards the top of the fruit.

4. How do I Prevent A Mess When Using My Juicytwist?

• Hold the fruit upright with the hole positioned at the top of the fruit.
• Try not to tip your Juictwist when drinking.
• Try to keep the hole as small as possible.
• Avoid puncturing a hole through the bottom of the rind.
• Gently maneuver your Juicytwist to prevent splitting your rind.

5. I am not extracting much juice out, what am I doing wrong?

• An objective is to become fruit savvy.   Valencia oranges offer more juice than navels, but less pulp. Be careful not to clog your Juicy Twist when consuming the latter. Also, become more proficient at Peeling your fruit the the inside.
